Natural Stone Consulting_ is a small, family company specialising in the supply of exquisite stone flooring, wall tiles, flagstones and outdoor paving.

Our ambitious sales plan requires the recruitment of a part-time Operations & Logistics Administrator at our Wick St Lawrence base.


Role overview:


To professionally coordinate the organisation and administration of a wide range of aspects of our business to ensure it operates efficiently while delivering quality products and customer service to our customers.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Sample stock control and replenishment
  • Coordinating collections & deliveries
  • First point of contact with international shipping agents
  • Container stock control administration
  • Key contact with UK warehouse regarding best practice, capacity and order packing
  • Liaising with hauliers / shipping agents both international and in the UK
  • Generic office administration
  • Supporting the Directors with general operations to help reach the team's objectives

Essential Skills:


  • An operational or organisational background.
  • Must be an independent worker able to prioritise own workload.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work with own initiative.
  • Must be highly organised.
  • Must be able to multitask, adapt quickly and work under pressure.
  • A good head for numbers.
  • Confidence on the phone.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time.
  • Strong communication skills both in an office environment and dealing with outside stakeholders.
  • Well versed in IT skills particularly Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Salary:
Starting salary of £24k per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 30 hours per week
