We are currently seeking a planner to provide additional resource to our Planning and Transport department.

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning the distribution to fulfil same day and future deliveries.

Liaising with our internal and external customers, you will anticipate potential supply and service issues, taking a proactive approach to minimising risk and impact to the business and stakeholders.

You will also be required to work closely with our core fleet hauliers to maximise and maintain service and profitability levels.

Working directly with hauliers and drivers, you will understand regulatory and compliance requirements and will understand the importance of good communication, engagement and enforcement of standards.

You will have a strong planning background, ideally from within the industry.

A working knowledge of Microsoft office and experience using internal planning systems/software is preferred. Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt products and associated processes would also be an advantage.

You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, where change is the norm. We are looking for a professional individual who can remain calm and focused under pressure.
