Hybrid working with occasional travel to office (IRE11) Belfast

Your Role


The Fujitsu VME Business is implementing a program of change as it moves from a Product to a Services based business and is taking on new business and clients at a rapid rate.

We are looking to grow our team with committed people who are self-starters with good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with our internal and external customers.

You must be able to work collaboratively within an experienced VME Operational team and will have the ability to interface with management and Customers.

The role requires the participation on a 'Continental' shift pattern, and you will receive an appropriate shift allowance.

  • Effectively monitor multiplatform VME client systems.
  • Become fully proficient in all aspects of VME Operating for the Client workloads.
  • Perform workload scheduling (using Helmsman, JOBMAN, QOS or other toolsets).
  • Carrying out first line diagnostics of any reported problems.
  • Escalating issues as per the agreed SLA's (Service Level Agreements).
  • The proactive detection of minor problems or trends ensuring that corrective action is taken to prevent any business impact on our clients.
  • The logging and management of all detected and reported problems from initial identification through to resolution.

Your experience

  • Knowledge of the VME System Operating.
  • Excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to plan and Prioritize
  • Flexible and willing to work from home as required.
  • Must have 5 GCSE's at grade C or above including English Language & Mathematics
  • A continuous resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
  • Good Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrable interest in IT
  • Be willing to undertake the appropriate level of security clearance
