The shift pattern for this post is 24 hours day/ night rotation


The Emergency Complex at Glasgow Royal Infirmary comprises the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit, managing approximately 350 patients per day.

The complex cares for a varied range of patients from the North East of Glasgow. We require an experienced Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join our Emergency Department Team.


You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group, competently performing the necessary technical, invasive and physical aspects of care.

It is preferable that you are competent in extended roles (ECG recording, Venepuncture, Cannulation, as a minimum.) Applicants should have previous experience of working in an Emergency Department or Acute Assessment Unit or equivalent Acute experience.

The shift pattern is 11.5 hours rotational over 24 hours and 7 days.
