Are you ready to empower the potential of students with special educational needs? Parker Smith Inclusion is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Basildon.

In this role, you'll work within an Additional Resource Provision (ARP) connected to a mainstream primary school, providing vital support to students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour in a diverse, mixed-level class.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Unlock the potential within every student.
  • Provide oneonone and group support to students with diverse needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and empowering learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to elevate students with personalised educational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • A passion for inclusive education and a dedication to making a significant impact.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£75.00-£95.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Colchester, Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
