Grade 5 £35,583 - £39,389 per annum including London Weighting.

Permanent - Full Time

Central are seeking a fascinated Media Technologist interested in the use of Media Technology in live performance and its future trajectory.

An individual who enjoys devising and discovering new ways to use and interface existing Media Technologies in live performance.

You will join the media team of two within our Technical & Production Department and offer specialist support and guidance for students, academic staff and visiting professionals in the use of Central's media resources.

The Media Technologist will be a lynchpin point of advice and training for students and staff on Media equipment use, specification, design and installation.

You will have the opportunity to work on practical installation tasks, technical troubleshooting and mentoring of students in performance spaces and filming locations; however, the majority of the role is office based where you will be able to utilise and develop your skills in resource management logistics and the facilitation of others through expert consultation and training.

It is anticipated that interviews and assessments will take place on
16 February 2023
