Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a global manufacturing business on the outskirts of Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PQ Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA, and reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparing management and financial transactions in an accurate and timely fashion
Weekly sales reconciliations and reporting
Weekly flash P&L reporting
Assisting with annual external audit
Covering for transactional finance when required
Balance sheet reconciliations
Analysis of P&L variances and overhead reporting
Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

PQ Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / AAT
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong communication skills
Excellent IT and ad reporting skills
