Learning Support Assistant at Eastward House School, Cardiff

Salary:
Dependent on experience.

Hours:
Full-time, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Eastward House School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Teacher to join our team.

We are a small independent school located in Cardiff, providing education for students with Additional Learning Needs, looking for someone who is passionate about learning and children.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering highquality teaching and learning.
Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons and activities.
Supporting students with Additional Learning Needs in their learning and development.
Providing pastoral care and support to students.
Participating in school events and activities.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience working with students with additional learning needs.
A relevant degree or qualification in education or a related field.
Experience working in an independent school or alternative education setting.
