Crofton Lodge is part of the Auckland Care wider community. They are currently recruiting for 2 full time positions.
Crofton Lodge is a stand-alone 8-bed residential care home and is a fast flow enablement unit for people with Learning Difficulties and Mental Health Problems who may display behaviours that may challenge the service and is located a ten-minute walk from the sea in Hampshire.
Job role:
- To share in home making activities with service users and staff including housekeeping duties such as shopping and cooking, cleaning and laundry
- Arrange and participate in activities to include all service users throughout the day. Organise materials necessary to these activities.
- To provide opportunities for service users to practice existing skills and to develop new useful skills
- To support service users to access the community safely, accompanying where appropriate on outings, holidays, dental and hospital appointments, to and from day work placements
- To assist service users to be actively involved in the care and purchasing of their own clothing and personal effects
- To work with visiting teaching, medical, psychology, physiotherapy and other specialist staff in devising and carrying out joint programmes for the care of service users
- To observe, record and report to senior staff the progress of each service user

From £10.60 per hour
