Water Hygiene Engineer/ Risk Assessor

London

£30,000 - £36,000 + Benefits


One of our great clients is looking for a talented water hygiene engineer who is interested in developing their career further.

They currently require individuals based in Greater London who have experience in water hygiene, water treatment and engineeringworks.


This is a great opportunity to improve your engineering knowledge, learn about water systems in more depth and take your skills set to the next level.


Tasks & Duties of a Water Hygiene Engineer Include:

  • Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • TMV servicing and descaling.
  • Sampling and analysis.
  • Occasionally tank cleans, refurbishments and other remedial works.

Skills and Knowledge to be Developed:

  • Training in advanced Legionella Risk Assessment with the Water Management Society.
  • Risk Assessments of modern hot and cold systems including UV, water conditioning, booster pumps and category 5 systems.
  • Client liaison on remedial works, project management and implementation.
  • Assessment and analysis of swimming pool and spas, for which you will be full trained in pool and spa systems by PWTAG approved trainers.
  • Defect/risk reporting on boosted water systems, including mechanical condition.

Experience and Skills Required:


  • A full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
  • At least 2 years industry experience.
  • You must have strong verbal & written communication.
  • Any plumbing qualifications are highly desirable.
  • You will have experience dealing with people at all levels
  • Hold a flexible approach towards working overtime and working across the Southeast.
