Beaumont and partners is looking for a joiner to join our team in Darlington.


The joiner will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and other hand and power tools.

The joiner will work with other team members to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely manner. 1st and 2nd fix experience required.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate all power tools.
  • Operate all saws, drills, sanders, and other saws.
  • Operate all hand and power tools to cut materials and materials to size.
  • Clean and maintain all tools after use.
  • Ensure that the area is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Report any equipment or material shortages to the supervisor.
  • Report any safety issues on the job to your supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area in an orderly fashion.
  • Complete required paperwork as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Work overtime as needed to complete projects.

Salary:
£10.00-£20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Loyalty bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Darlington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Joinery: 5 years (required)
  • Carpentry: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
