    Berry Street's Northern Specialist Family Violence Service (NSFVS)

    Located in Preston, Wurundjeri Country, we are the lead provider for the integrated family violence service system in the Northern Metropolitan sub-region.

    • Type: Full time, fixed term (until 30/06/2026)
    • Salary: $106,000 per annum, plus super and salary packaging

    About the Role

    The Short-Term Accommodation and Response (STAR) program aims to extend the reach of specialist family violence response to victim survivors who are parents or have a young child. The role involves assessing family violence risk and working intensively with victim survivors and their children to identify goals and case plan.

    Key Objectives:

    • Support both adult and child victim survivors to recover from trauma.
    • Strengthen the attachment between the non-offending parent and child.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will hold a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or recent employment in the family violence sector. You will also have experience in working with women and children from diverse backgrounds who have experienced family violence and the ability to undertake comprehensive risk assessments.

    • $106,000 per annum, plus super and salary packaging
    • Flexible work arrangements
