Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a
Speciality Logistics Coordinator for a global medical courier company based in Hounslow.


As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring all shipping requirements and functions are completed accurately and efficiently.

The responsibilities include liaising with customers and the company's global network of specialist partners,before and throughout the shipping processes, to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained and that every shipment arrives in perfect condition.

As well as being responsible for the management of qualified packaging and the selection of shipment routing,including airlines and approved agents.


Some of the duties and responsibilities consist of:

  • Create air freight bookings with airlines
  • Assist customers with country specific regulatory requirements
  • Arrange shipments with the company offices & suppliers worldwide
  • Keep customers fully updated through out the shipment process
  • Ensure the company standard operating procedures are followed at all times
  • Prepare validated temperature controlled packaging
  • Perform inventory counts, update inventory system and notify purchaser of stock depletion

Skills and experience required:


  • Flexibility with shift schedule and overtime
  • Strong customer service skills / experience
  • Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple projects/tasks/systems simultaneously
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence as some driving may be involved.
  • Experience within a Pharmaceutical logistics/shipping/Freight setting.
  • Must be available for evening & weekend duty phone roster


The shifts of this role do require an element of flexibility as later evenings, earlier mornings and weekend cover may be required.

The shifts will be based around the hours of Monday to Friday, 11:00 - 19:00.
