We have a huge opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with detailed experience who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams from the initial concept development through drawings and specifications, report preparation, equipment sizing and selection, and involvement during the construction contract.


As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work with a host of our client's teams to provide detailed designs and installation designs of complete mechanical systems and HVAC solutions for specialist Data Centers projects.

Due to continuing business growth, this excelling consultancy needs a successful, skilled, and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who is capable of managing and growing resources to meet project demands while upholding the highest standards of technical quality and legal compliance and operating as a member of the larger multidisciplinary engineering team.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all design projects and reports produced by the group adhere to a uniform level of quality and technical compliance.
  • Motivate yourself and the group's employees to create cohesive, highperforming teams. To maximize staff potential, set goals, track performance, provide coaching, and invest in staff development.
  • Manage QA systems and practices across all projects.
  • Ensure that all designs adhere to CDM guidelines.
  • Verify that the Quality Management System adheres to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.

Required Credentials:

  • Degreelevel or similar educational credentials are preferred.
  • A chartered mechanical engineer with extensive experience.
  • Experience in planning and managing projects, with a minimum of five years' worth of industry experience.
  • Overseeing Mechanical Design at all phases of design
  • Collaboration on the design with other stakeholders and disciplines
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC engineering, key mechanical systems, and multiple resilience levels, including cooling, ventilation, humidification, fuel oil, and flue systems.
  • Experience with largescale chilled water and thermodynamic cooling systems.
