111 Team Administrator - Medway (MRC)

  • 37.5 hrs per week


We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator with a strong understanding of Payroll/Purchasing to join our team at the NHS 111 Contact Centres.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative department.


The successful applicant will be responsible for providing effective administration to the Senior Management Team for the 111 Contact Centres.

This role requires attention to detail and accuracy.

You will have good communication skills, be organised, friendly, confident, methodical and able to keep up with a fast-moving department.

The post holder will ;

  • Provide general clerical, basic word processing and data input support for the relevant teams as required.
  • Including management of shift swaps and sickness/absence reporting.
  • Coordinate process for new joiners, leavers and other staff changes, liaising with recruitment, HR, payroll and the lead trainer, as required.
  • To support the Clinical and Nonclinical Operations Managers and as required the service director, duty managers and lead trainer.
  • Organises and minute meetings, handle messages and respond to enquiries.
  • To use the SBS system to order goods and services as requested

Filing, photocopying, record keeping, postal duties, collating, stapling, packaging, taking/making routine telephone calls, circulating documents and other routine clerical work.

Other reports in support of the regional management team.

To act as a central point of communication for all staff within the contact centres.

Use of appropriate resources including telephone, PC, photocopier.

Undertake any other work commensurate with the grade of the post.
