You will oversee the Merchandising function and manage a team of Merchandisers.

In this role, you will interact with different teams including the local Merchandising teams, Business Planning, Sales Liaison and the Shipping departments.


Your Key responsibilities:


MERCHANDISING:


  • Define the product assortment, manage the store offer and the allocations for each market
  • Review results at category /collections/reference level and build and revise action plans
  • Optimise inventory while growing revenue Identify new business opportunities through sales analysis, retail feedback and competitive research Create and organise qualitative and creative content
  • Supervise weekly and monthly analysis
  • Provide quantitative reports and quantitative feedback

MANAGEMENT:


  • Manage a team overseeing and initiating ongoing responsibilities and projects
  • Bring awareness and motivation around merchandising strategies
  • Establish credibility and build strong relationships with markets
  • Partner with the Business Planning Manager to ensure that production is aligned with market needs

REQUIREMENT SKILLS:


  • Previous experience in Merchandising, Business Planning or Supply Chain, ideally in the luxury industry Important skills:
  • Commercially driven, Business strategy, Data analysis, Budget, Team leadership
  • Detail oriented with ability to handle several projects simultaneously and prioritise
  • Excellent organization and followup skills
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Effective communication skills and diplomatic
  • Team player
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and senior management
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet short deadlines
  • Excellent MS Office skills: advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word
