Up to £40,842.75 plus Veolia Benefits (Pension)

Hours:40 hours per week, rotating shift pattern of day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays

What will you be doing?

As a Shift Plant Operator, you will report to the Shift Team Leader to ensure a safe and efficient operation of all activities on site including a waste-fried high-pressure boiler and generator.

Assist the Shift Team Leader with the operation of the plant from a Central Control Room.
Operate plant and equipment as required, including mobile plant and refuse crane.
Ensure day to day compliance with all aspects of the Environmental Permit.
Carry out routine plant inspections.
Monitor stocks and take receipt of consumables and collections.

What are we looking for?

Experience working in a continuous process environment.
Be available for shift pattern work.
An interest in mechanical and electrical plant with some experience of plant operations.
Previous engineering experience would be an advantage.
