This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and ambitious national logistics business who are growing year on year.
You will be based on site at one of their prestigious clients working as part of a busy central planning team supporting with the of up to 20 depots nationwide.
Duties include
- Working as part of a central planning team, planning loads for a variety of customers in a team of up to 20
- Planning Day 1 for Day 2, up to Day 1 for Day
- Maximising own fleet utilisation and arranging backloads
- Working closely with subcontractors and negotiating rates when required
- Dealing with drivers face to face and over the phone
- Liaising with permanent drivers, subcontractors and agency drivers
- Ensuring all customers requirements are met
- Liasing with depots and external stakeholders
