About Us:


Part of the global WS Audiology group, Signia produces Innovative hearing aids and accessories to improve lives for our customers living with hearing loss and we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis, to join our finance teambased in Chester.


The Role:


We are looking for someone to support the Company Management Accountant to maintain accurate books and records in the company ERP system, in liaison with the Finance outsource team and to prepare monthly reports for our Key Customers accounts which supportsthe invoicing process.

You will assist with and ensure the production of quality financial management information for local management, the Group and Government agencies according to tight deadlines as well as assist with all month end processes to ensuremonth-end close and reporting deadlines are met.


Main Duties:


  • Oversee, manage and control the flow of AP transactions through to shared services for processing using the systems and tools in place
  • Prepare reporting to support invoicing for key customers
  • Cost and expense analysis review & reporting and Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet analysis
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
  • Dealing with local supplier queries and preparing staff expense claims for processing by WNS in accordance with agreed policy
  • Support in the preparation of Intrastat & VAT returns
  • Calculate and report monthly customer rebate bookings using company tools and processes
  • Calculate and submit monthly warranty claim with Group and support Credit Control to meet company credit control targets

About you:

The qualifications, knowledge, experience, and competencies required for the role are:

  • Advanced Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint (Essential)
  • Salesforce experience (Desirable)
  • Commercial mindset with a highlevel attention to detail (Essential)
  • Ability to remain neutral and positive under pressure (Essential)
  • Demonstrate flexibility with workloads and priorities (Essential)
