We are recruiting an Events Assistant Apprentice and would like to attract a wide range of applicants from our diverse communities across Greater Manchester

As an apprentice you will have on the job learning, training, and support to develop your knowledge, experience and skills whilst completing a Level 3 qualification.

You will be required to work to high standards and under pressure, whilst treating people with respect and compassion. As you would expect, the highest standard of honesty and integrity is a requirement for this role.

The apprenticeship will involve significant use of IT and excellent communication skills - face to face, telephone and in writing.

You will undertake and assist with a range of reward and recognition duties. Assisting with the venue arrangements, nominations, inviting recipients to events, preparing the programmes and table plans.

You will be involved in events such as monthly and annual Chief Constable award ceremonies, attestation ceremonies and the Force Christmas concert.

Whilst there are no specific academic qualifications required for the position, applicants will need to demonstrate ability in English and Maths at a level that will allow you to achieve the apprenticeship and to competently carry out the role.

You will complete an advanced Level 3 Events Assistant Apprenticeship.
