Salary Range - £17,304 - £21,324

22.2 Hours per week X 52 Weeks per annum

Whether you're already a teacher or looking to make your start in education, we're looking for somebody excited about computing to bring our A-level curriculum to life and provide an engaging and exciting Computer Science learning experience


You'll need to be able to deliver content to learners at different levels, provide pastoral support, and want to get involved in a range of exciting projects and activities.


Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Computer Science courses at A-level
  • Networking with external partners to ensure our courses stay relevant to industry
  • Championing our commitment to putting students first
  • Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

After your first year with us, success would look like:

  • All students achieved or exceeded their target grade through exciting and dynamic teaching, learning and assessment
  • Have built student skills to a high level in preparation for progression to Higher Education or Industry
  • Enthusiastically engaged with our dedicated continuous professional development programme to expand your education skills and further your FE career

Though ideally, you will:

  • Hold relevant computing qualifications and have experience in two or more of the following: Coding, Programming, SQL, Web development, Graphics & animation, Testing, Networks & Cybersecurity.
  • Have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards within 12 months of starting (college funded)
  • Be passionate about working with learners and shaping the future of the sector
