The Role - Supply Chain Coordinator

Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator for our client a Fresh Produce Global Business leader based in Dartford in Kent at a brand new facility.

In this role as a member of the sales department, you will be overseeing fruit inventory, volume requirements and logistics.

Coordinating and managing the process from packhouse to customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Implement Microsoft D365 and offline inventory control systems, working closely with the sales team & sourcing to ensure optimal inventory is always maintained.
Managing product storage, inventory, packing & distribution.
Maintaining customer forecasts and forecast accuracy whilst keeping an accurate record of the inventory.
Liaising with warehouse and logistics to ensure correct pallet requirements are being allocated and product is prepared for Outloading.
Work closely with all stakeholders to develop and implement a continuous improvement plan to improve processes and maximize operational efficiencies.
Work in conjunction with the sales, supply chain and operational teams to ensure all sales volumes are supplied and preplanned accounting for any external factors such as vessel changes.
Proactively communicate daily and weekly product needs according to fruit size, pack, grade, label requirements, country of origin, volume changes and any potential changes.
Managing logistics including inbound containers, documentation, transportation and customs clearance.
Develop and implement cross functional process links.
Develop and implement best practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Supply Chain & sales functions.
Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers and customers.
