Cally Smith Childcare is a setting that I run from my family home in Brompton on Swale. I am a registered childminder who is passionate about my job. The setting is open Mon-Thur 8.00am-5.30pm and we are open a minimum of 48 weeks per year.

We care for children from Birth-8 years old and can have up to 12 children in the setting per day.

We are primarily an outdoor setting, working towards our curiosity approach accreditation. We spend most of our time in our educational garden and the local environment, no matter the time of year or weather so a love for puddle jumping is a must

We are looking for someone who is reliable, fun, creative, calm and well-presented but most importantly has a passion for childcare.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, flexible & enjoy been busy and having lots to do.

The role will involve:

Planning age appropriate activities for the children & delivering them
Interacting with the children & their parents/carers
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
Adhering to regulatory standards
Cleaning to a high standard
Preparing meals
Attending to all children's needs

Qualities needed:

- be motivated to enhance children learning & development experiences
- have good spoken and written english
- have excellent communication skills
- be willing to complete online training courses as needed
- have fantastic abilities to use your own initiative
- be positive, outgoing & have a genuine love for working with babies & children
- be able to work as a team and learn on the go

Childcare qualification OR pervious employment in a childcare establishment required

Between 16 and 20 hours per week so flexibility is required

In return you would be an integral member of our family team who are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of early years education in a rewarding environment.

Role would be dependant on an enchanted DBS check & references

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

Salary:
From £11.00 per hour
