Locum Consultant Post
The appointee will join a team of oncoplastic breast surgeons in one of the busiest breast services in the UK based at the Nightingale Breast Screening Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital and the Christie Hospital Cancer Centre.
There is a weekly clinico-pathological multi-disciplinary team (MDT) conference within the breast unit, which is attended by radiologists, pathologists, oncologists and all the breast surgical staff, plus additional daily MDT morning meetings.
There is a weekly oncoplastic team meeting where difficult reconstructive cases are discussed. Oncoplastic clinics are held every fortnight to discuss complex reconstructive cases.
