OakRay Care is a family run business on the Isle of Wight and the New Forest, specialising in the provision of residential care for the elderly.

We run high-quality care homes and are committed to making a positive difference to our residents, in every way. We currently operate four care homes; three on the Isle of Wight and one in Fordingbridge, New Forest.

We have an exciting opportunity for a
Trainer to join our friendly, supportive team.

The main priorities of the role are:

Access to a car, and a full driving licence

Minimum requirement - qualified to carry out and certify care staff in the following areas:

Manual Handling
First Aid
Fire Safety

Auditing:

Medication
Food safety
Infection Prevention Control

Staff Training Matrix:

Upkeep and general administration

This role will be on a 2-3 days a week basis. A full-time equivalent salary of £20k + is available, which is negotiable, dependant on experience of the successful applicant.

The role will be based at Sandown. However, travel to our other care homes is essential.
