This role offers the option of either day (£17.55per hour) or night shift (£20.04 per hour), working 38 hours over 4 days
Successful applicants for this Plater position will ideally have previous experience within this area, plus: the following
key skills and experience:

  • Working with mm plate
  • Used to heat straightening
  • Understanding of Engineering Drawings
  • Experience in heavy engineering
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Have the ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment

  • Sunderland, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
