An exciting opportunity has arisen to Lead our Global People Analytics, Insight & Innovation team at Experian.

This role sits within the People Technology & Analytics (PTA) team, and reports directly into the HR Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The People Analytics team at Experian is responsible for delivering insights across the full employee lifecycle from core management information to predictive solutions.

Working closely with the HR COO, this role will be responsible for leading the people analytics end to end, overseeing global and regional people insights alongside bespoke analytics projects, and managing a small global team.


The team are highly regarded across our business and are continually driving excellence in the analytics space and are recognised externally as one of the leading organisations in this area, who have commercialised solutions built in house to the external market.

They are pioneering work on predictive people analytics, and you will play a part in optimising and shaping the agenda, producing insightful, valuable, and commercial insights into people activity at Experian.


But there is always more to do The role will be responsible for developing our People Analytics strategy, where our priority is now shifting to how we drive a step change in our People Analytics by exploring and leveraging Innovation to bring people related insights to the forefront of business decision making.

Work that matters - What you'll be doing

  • Leading a global team of HR data & analytics specialists; providing coaching, support, development and feedback.
  • Working closely with the people technology team to support people data governance and quality initiatives alongside developing plans for future data requirements to support future data modelling / science activity alongside driving greater automation (RPA) on more transactional analytics

Qualifications:


  • A strategic mindset and proven experience setting direction and motivating a team of specialists (leadership of a global team is beneficial)
  • Experience working in a Global Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Analytics or Consultancy environment is preferred, however we would also consider someone from a data science background
  • Experience of leading and/or developing advanced HR analytics, tools, strategies and models using leading data science techniques
  • Previous experience working with HR / People systems, and reporting solutions, especially any knowledge of Oracle, Prism, ServiceNow, Visier, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters would be beneficial
  • Experience in Oracle SQL, Python and R, exposure to data science & statistical packages e.g. SPSS alongside advance knowledge of VBA would all be beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
