Fire safety and risk management is at the heart of what we're doing as a Council.
The Grenfell tragedy happened here in Kensington and Chelsea and we're working hard to ensure our buildings are safe for residents, staff, contractors, and visitors.
Since the tragedy we've brought our social housing back into the control of the Council and we want committed, hardworking people to help us improve things.
The Role:
This is an opportunity to study for a recognised qualification in fire safety while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a wide variety of fire safety and risk management roles.
During the day you'll work with more experienced staff on everything from visiting and completing inspections to engaging with residents.
In your own time, over the course of two years, you'll study for a CFPA European Diploma in fire safety.

About You:
You're likely to be a school or college leaver from the local area with good IT skills, including a working knowledge of using Excel to produce reports and tables.
You'll be keen to learn about building and fire safety legislation and to keep up with new developments in the field.
Good communication skills are also essential to enable you to work with a wide range of people.
