    Job Role: Multi-Trade Void Property Operative

Pay Rate:
£33,000 - £37,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

Multi-Trade operative required for UK wide housing association responsible for providing quality repair, installation and refurbishment work as required within the maintenance team.

Provide exceptional fault diagnosis and good customer service in order to meet the businesses Key Performance Indicators.


Role:

To be able to carry out general carpentry repairs and installation to a good standard, and to include but not limited to:

  • Make good boxings and tiling
  • Fitting Showers
  • Hanging Doors
  • Scarfing
  • Glazing
  • Architraves
  • Skirtings
  • Kitching Fitting
  • Maintaining adjusting and fitting garage doors
  • Changing & fitting locks
- uPVC window fitting

  • Studwork, boxings & bath panels
  • Locksmith
  • Stairs & Bannisters
To undertake on site risk assessments and identify any potential hazards and inform your line manager if required

  • Monday to Friday 08:00am
  • 4.00pm
  • Overtime hours available but not forced

  • Company Van supplied if needed
  • Ongoing or permanent work

Requirements for the Property Maintenance Role:

  • Ability to work within manufacturers requirements and Industry British Standards.
  • Ability to diagnose and undertake a repair works to domestic properties including specifying materials required and the ability to undertake works in accordance with training and good industry practice.
  • Work within known deadlines
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and others daily verbally and digitally.
