Metalis are currently supporting a plastic manufacturing specialist who are seeking to hire an in-house Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

This is a permanent day's regular position, working 08.00am - 5.00pm Monday until Friday.

Role Overview:

You will be maintaining and fixing a variety of plastic injection moulding machinery in a busy production workshop. This is a small business where you will be working alongside one other experienced maintenance engineer.

The role will predominantly entail electrical troubleshooting duties to ensure the smooth running of the factory.

Role Requirements:

Performing electrical reactive duties on production machinery breakdowns
You will be involved with fault finding, strip downs and servicing.
You will contribute towards implementing a preventative system to reduce arising issues.
Fault finding on PLC systems such as Siemens and Toshiba all technical PLC issues are outsourced to an external company.
Supporting with mechanical issues when/where required
Ensuring that the factory is running as lean as efficient and lean as possible

Small team/ business where your contribution will make a huge difference
Overtime is available and paid at an enhancement (time plus 1/3rd in the week, time plus 1⁄2 on Saturdays and double time Sundays)
Days regular shift pattern
Healthy order book going into 2023
