Description

Our client, a market leader with a high level of retention and reputation for providing a progressive and enjoyable working environment, is looking to source a credible Commercial Finance Manager to join in this highly visible and strategic business area.

Main duties:

Ensuring rigorous appraisal and challenge is provided ahead of and during the appraisal process for new site opportunities
Presenting and explaining sit specific issues to a range of senior stakeholders
Preparing board papers to support important investments, distilling complex financials into easy to understand papers
Supporting the Senior Manager in periodic reviews of the investment model
Developing strong relationships with acquisition managers, operational and business development teams
Supporting analysis of the post completion reviews
Identifying trends and learning, providing recommendations for the future

Key skills & experience required:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong commercial acumen
Analytical mindset with the ability to understand, challenge and inform on investment decisions
Financial modelling
Ability to present succinctly to stakeholders
Capable of building strong stakeholder relationships with excellent interpersonal skills
Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
