Description

Working within the wider Finance team, the Finance Assistant wll be responsible for providing support to the Financial Operations Team covering Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

This position is a vital component of the business, and is responsible for:_
Manipulation of data to produce customer invoices
Assisting with payment and collection activities
Accurate and timely posting of supplier invoices and credit notes
Dealing with internal and external queries
Preparation of monthly reconciliations
Reconciling bank in multicurrencies
Completeness and accuracy of supplier & Customer data across all accounting platforms
Assisting with the timely completion of month end processes and the production of monthly reports
Ensuring all activities are compliant with relevant financial policies.
Preparing and posting journals
Ad hoc support to the finance team

Requirements:

Intermediate Excel skills
Excellent organisational skills

Problem solver
Accurate data entry skills
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in a finance role
Bonus Skills:_
AAT foundation level (equivalent) or above
Advanced Excel skills
Use of Sage 50 / Xero
