Are you already working in education and looking for a new challenge?

Or employed in industry and looking to work more closely with your community?

Whether in a teaching & learning role or in one of our specialised Business Support functions, you'll be involved in nurturing and developing the next generation of construction workers, engineers, health workers and countless others.

We're already a successful college, but we're continually striving to be better and do better - be part of our story

In the role of Marketing and Events Coordinator, you'll predominantly be based at Huddersfield Centre and your focus will be on organising and managing internal and external events throughout the college calendar, including student and staff award ceremonies, graduation and partnership events.

Your key responsibilities will be to plan and manage all college events in line with the marketing strategy and college values, provide a central event resource and support for staff, as well as offering general marketing support.

You will be confident in liaising with curriculum staff and external suppliers to deliver high quality events.

Ideally, you'll have an honours degree or higher-level qualification (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience of planning and delivering events in a marketing role.

It's important that you're able to organise and give clear instructions, communicate effectively and develop and manage schedules to ensure event success, as well as demonstrate our college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.

Due to the nature of our work, it's essential you're committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We believe learning is not just for our students: it's an important part of working here too.

Staff development opportunities include a mentoring scheme, financial contributions for external qualifications and skills development for current and aspiring managers.

You'll also have access to a range of staff benefits including an employee assistance programme, retail and leisure discounts and reduced Metro travel.

We want people who believe in the value of education, and who can contribute to our culture of supporting and challenging one another.
