Progressive Sports is seeking a Behaviour Mentor & Sports Coach.

Mentor & Coaching:
This position is for Part-time (20 hours week) program.

Location:
Manchester, Greater Manchester

Hours:
Monday-Friday (excepting some holidays) from 9:00am-15:00pm

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Coach to join our team and help reengage children who have been expelled from school.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging sports programs tailored to the needs and abilities of the young students, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment where expelled children can thrive and develop confidence, selfdiscipline, and positive selfesteem.
Provide individualised attention and support to each child, ensuring their unique needs and challenges are addressed.
Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external organisations to ensure a holistic approach to the children's development and reintegration into the education system.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of each child, providing timely feedback and implementing necessary adjustments to the coaching program.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a sports coach, preferably with a focus on working with children.
Knowledge of various sports and the ability to tailor coaching techniques to meet the specific needs of children.
Understanding of the challenges faced by children and a compassionate approach to supporting their individual journeys.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with children and their families.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
Relevant certifications and qualifications in coaching or sportsrelated fields are desirable.
