About The Role:

TES are currently looking for a Technical Officer within the Projects Department.

The shifts will be a combination of Days and Nights over the week including weekends.
The hours each week are 35 hours per week.


The purpose of this role is to work with the Technical Team and to ensure work is technically compliant to the satisfaction of the client and Line Standards.

About You:

You are required to have good geographical knowledge of the area, excellent communication skills and be IT literate.


The position will require travelling within the area so a full UK driving licence is essential with your own transport.

Ideally you should have the following knowledge, Competencies and experience:

Responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure technical compliance on nominated work.
  • To assist with the survey, design and setting out of worksites.
  • To accurately and consistently record and deliver the asbuilt details.
  • Liaise with the Senior Technical Officer and Principal Technical Officer to deliver a mutually successful conclusion.
  • Deliver the work on a datoday basis
  • To perform onsite instrument calibration checks and identify calibration errors to the Senior and Principal Technical Officers.
  • Ensure work is carried out to standards and within the TES 2000 Business Quality System.
  • Produce written reports as required by the Senior/Principal Technical Officer.
  • To achieve successful completion of technical qualifications and competencies.
  • Carry out safety critical duties as required.
