We're looking for an individual with the passion and drive for developing evidence-based practice to lead on the CBT provision across the Rise Specialist Mental Health Services for Children and Young People in Coventry and Warwickshire.

In this hybrid role, you'll take a blended approach to delivering interventions both digitally and in-person, meeting our children and young people where is best for them.


As a dynamic leader, you will have a creative approach to problem-solving and will ensure the best interests of children and young people are at the heart of every decision.

Please note many Trust interviews take place through Microsoft Teams, this can be downloaded either through the App Store or Google Play for use on your phone/tablet.


You'll work alongside service leads and operational leads as a senior CBT practitioner, adding strength and value to the much-needed CBT provision of part of the RISE umbrella of services.

This will include clinically informing and implementing the Children and Young People's CBT provision across the geography of the county including supporting increased access to evidence based mental health care for children and young people.

To demonstrate an expert level of clinical reasoning and practical skills enabling independent (autonomous) working within a clinic, bedded facility or community based environment

To undertake the comprehensive assessment of CYP and families referred into the service, determining clinical risk and managing the risks with appropriate multidisciplinary team intervention and specific clinical requirements

Will be responsible for own and others continuing professional development and ensure requirements of the appropriate professional clinical guidelines and standards are complied with in maintaining professional registration requirements


Will identify, participate in the development and sustainability of best practice within Children and Young Peoples Specialist Mental Health Services.


To champion the usage of Routine Outcome Measures by the Specialist Mental Health clinical team and to lead on increase Routine Outcome reporting.

At a senior level to provide a supervision structure that supports both clinical delivery and workforce growth.


Working with the professional leads, lead the development of all the team roles and structure the teams within the area of responsibility to promote joined integrated working for children, young people and their families.

Provide clinical support to teams within Children and Young Peoples Specialist Mental Health services.


Be adaptable and able to cope with changes to patient flow at peak times and advice and treat in a timely and responsive manner.


To work alongside the CYP waiting list team to ensure patient flow and priority of cases are allocated according to need.
