We are recruiting a School Crossing Patrol at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 6.25 hours per week

Contract Type:
Permanent, Part time, Term Time Only

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Transport Strategy and Road Safety Team.

The post is for a School Crossing Patrol Monday to Friday for Ty Sign Primary School, Risca which will consist of two shifts per day, one at the beginning of the school day and one at the end.

The crossing site is situated sited on Elm Drive, Risca.

For the role, we ask that you:

Comply with our policies and ensure regulations are adhered to, within the School Crossing Patrol Guidelines and Handbook
Are an effective communicator and will be expected to liaise with management, parents, learners and the school successfully
Have a Good understanding of road use and traffic awareness
