C++ Developer
Full time - Permanent.
Fully Remote

  • Ideally located South Wales or South West England.
£35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits.
Unify is proud to be working with an award winning Global Software Company. They have over 25 years of experience and innovation across multiple sectors.

With their continued success and with some very exciting plans to grow in the coming year they are nowlooking to grow their team of software developers.

This role is perfect for someone at the start of their development career who wants to expand their knowledge and experience with C++ development.

You will be working Closely with their 12 person team and directly with their expert C++ Developer.
Responsibilities.
Your main focus will be delivering high quality code that meets requirements. You will need to be able to review customer data, troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions and implement them.

In order to succeed you must be able to work and communicate with an established expert team of developers with a range of disciplines and skills.

This role will need very strong mathematical skills in order to develop mathematical models. You will need hands-onexperience with C++, git and DevOps for software management. You will use consumer software for reviewing customer and test data, and create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Required Skills/Experience.

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
  • A demonstrable mathematical background with at least a BSc (or similar) qualification in maths or a related science.
  • Experience with C++ development.
  • Experience of using version control and management.
  • Familiarity with design and development methodologies.
  • Facilities to permanently work from home including suitable internet connectivity.
  • Valid Full UK Driving licence.
Desirable

  • A demonstrable mathematical background in computational geometry.
  • A working understanding of data driven paradigms.
  • Experience with C++ cross platform library development including cmake.
  • Experience with implementing mathematical models in C++.
  • Experience with Android development and deployment, including JNI.
  • Experience with C#.NET 6 Windows and Linux development.
  • Experience of Avalonia GUI development.
  • Experience of Git and DevOps for version control and management.

  • Open and honest, able to identify areas for personal technical improvements
