Finance Assistant - Accountancy Practice

Location:
Bradford - BD1- Free parking on-site


Salary:
£27,000- £30,000 per annum

Hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00-5:00- Flexibility on start and finish times

Office Angels Bradford are working alongside an accountancy practice with over 100 years' experience in the industry. Their mission is to train and inspire all their team members to be experts.


You will be joining a friendly bubbly team who offer progression and development as well as offering 1 home working day a week This role requires someone who has Accounts experience including AAT qualification.

Your day-to-day duties will include:


  • Working within a busy accounting practice across multiple client's accounts
  • Preparing VAT Returns including Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing and maintaining purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger
  • Raising and processing purchase order
  • Processing payments and invoices
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Answering telephone queries
  • Obtain their AAT qualification Level 3 or above
  • This is essential
  • Previous experience working in a Finance position
  • Have previous working knowledge of Sage packages, Xero or Quick books
  • Have communication skills which are second to none
  • Has a high level of attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • Outlook, Excel, Word
