We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly motivated Senior Planning Consultant with demonstrable knowledge of the various principles of delay analysis, as well as preparation of delay claims, management of disputes and demonstrable ability in assessing the time impact of compensation events.
The Senior Consultant in a Planning / Delay role will be a key member of our team and provide services across a range of sectors for a variety of clients.
We are looking for innovative thinkers who are keen to engage and "Make Complex look Simple", and as such, get involved in the AI revolution of Project Controls.
The Senior Planning Consultant will work as part of our Integrated Program Controls Team (IPC), which is composed of Schedule, Risk, Project Controls and Analytics.
Experience
- Experienced in delay analysis and have welldeveloped clientfacing skills. Outstanding time management, excellent IT, and verbal communication skills.
- Rigorous in following documented processes and governance and will be able to demonstrate the ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of a changing project environment.
- Able to create a robust, contract compliant resourced project baseline programme with the experience of managing projects and their stakeholders on major highprofile projects across the energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water and utilities sectors.
- Commercially aware and able to make sound decisions in order to maximise fee earning potential and utilisation.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to own large processes with mínimal oversight and will be accountable for leading the team to achieve results in line with business objectives.

Client focused and will understand the benefits of different communication methods and will effectively communicate with the client to ensure their needs are understood.
Able to make autonomous decisions guided by policies, procedures and business objectives.
Ability to capture lessons learned and communicate them to the team as well as develop case studies to ensure knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities
- Leads planning services multidisciplinary teams, reviewing and reporting on all aspects of projects.
- Writing, editing, and preparing client reports as well as reviewing programming or delay situations and advising clients accordingly.
- Acting as a role model and mentor to other AECOM employees through training, development and performance management.
- Provides support to Associates and Directors.
- Promoting oneself with professional institutions.
- Supporting AECOM business development initiatives and events.
- Provides analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
- Supports the development of plans and schedules for proposals.
- Track corrective actions.
- Assists in coordination of schedule input from all parts of the organization.
- Able to identify and assist in analysis of project schedule variances. Identifies and analyzes schedule variances and recommends associated corrective action.
