Overview:


We are looking for an Early Years Business & Finance Advisor to join our Service as a Grade 7 on the Buckinghamshire Council Pay scale.


The Early Years Service ensures the local authority meets its statutory duty to secure sufficient high quality funded early education places for 2, 3 & 4 year olds and sufficient childcare for 0-14/18 year olds whose parents are in work or training to return to work.


About us:


The Early Years Business & Finance Advisor will be responsible for ensuring that Buckinghamshire Council meet its duties to ensure there is sufficient childcare.


The successful applicant will provide comprehensive business and finance advice to early years and schools EY providers ensuring that their business and governance models are sustainable and meet the needs of the market.


You will Facilitate market management and support new providers to enter the market place and develop high quality early years and childcare services which meet the needs of families.


You should have excellent knowledge and first-hand experience of business and finance preferably with experience in the early years sector with the ability to assess and evaluate complex information.

About you:


You will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have a proven ability to negotiate, inspire and maintain highly effective working relationships.

They will be skilful communicators with the ability to engage and influence customers, partners and stakeholders giving advice on solutions to improve early years business practices and meet the needs of all vulnerable children.
