KM4 Group are recruiting a Junior Web Developer for their client who is a new, up and coming fast growth creative agency.

This is the first technical hire and offers exciting career progression opportunities.

The Role

You will be assisting with website builds.
Implementing new design features.
Working to ensure that the underlying structure of a client's site is correct and maintained.
It is also essential that you are familiar with WordPress theme and plugin development.

Junior Web Developer

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
Establishing and guiding the websites architecture.
Ensuring highperformance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with a client's website.

Junior Web Developer requirements and qualifications

Good understanding of frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery.
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
Comfortable working with debugging tools such as firebug, chrome devtools etc.
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
An understanding of code versioning tools (git).
Strong understanding of PHP backend development.
