Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000 P/A


Location:
Lacock, Wiltshire


Working Hours:06.00 am pm, 4on4off


Stonegate Farmers have an excellent opportunity for a Materials & Production Planner to join our Egg Innovation Centre (EIC) located at our facility in Lacock, Wiltshire.

Working closely with the Production Manager you will be responsible for the effective provision of daily production plans for EIC manufacturing operations as well as managing material replenishment to meet production demands.

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the provision of stable, effective production plans to the manufacturing operations and schedules to meet the customer demand forecast.
  • To calculate the materials/packaging needed to meet production plans.
  • To place materials and packaging replenishment purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Producing accurate, reliable, and timely reports to advise the wider business of any risks to service level.
  • Escalating any significant risks and impacts to plan achievement which may result in a significant impact on customer service
  • To create an egg usage schedule to match the production plan, ensuring that the correct amount of shell eggs are available on the right life and correct type and grading size
  • To check Finished Goods quantities before despatch

Person Specification:


  • Confident working with numbers and high volume of data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Methodical mindset
  • Analytical approach

Qualifications / Experience:


  • Previous experience working within Planning within manufacturing
  • Experience of using Excel spreadsheets to manipulate data
  • Understanding of chilled food manufacturing
  • Level 2 or above Food Safety is advantageous
