GENERAL SUMMARY

Reporting to the Operations lead, the Technical Planner is responsible for the Detailed Planning + Scheduling of Product assembly & Component completion, in line with order requirements.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Planning of Assembly start and completion, inspection activities to meet customer requirements.
Use SAP Planning software to Schedule manufacturing Work in line with order requirements to meet Customer 'on time delivery' dates.
Daily review of Schedule progress with regards to component delivery liaising with purchasing on exception items.
Daily review of manufacturing activities liaising with manufacturing facility
Manage NCR's as required.
Manage release of materials for subcontract process including liaising with shipping team.
Working closely with production team and project managers developing and communicating production plans that ensure customer commitments are recognised.
Expediting as required.
Attend project meetings to provide updates against schedule and issues as applicable.
Manage inspection dates between manufacturing site and project team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A comprehensive understanding of MRP planning and scheduling, preferably using SAP software
Good Mechanical engineering background preferred but not essential
Highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills.
Microsoft office skills

Education and Experience

Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
Similar industry working environment is highly desirable
