IT Operations Director

Location:
Fully remote (with occasional travel to the reading office)

Salary:
Basic salary of £75k - 90k + bonus, private medical, flexible working, (EAP)

Founded in 2005 with an aim to empower businesses through an innovative and revolutionary workforce management solution that optimises business productivity and departmental resources, the organisation we are representing is a highly regarded, globally recognisedbrand with an IPO valuation firmly in the multimillions.

Now ready to embark on a new journey across 2023, they're looking for an experienced IT Operations Director to oversee the brand's information technology department and ensure processes and services are managed correctly.

Overseeing several teams across the business from Infrastructure, DB hosting, Technical Support and more, this role has a huge scope for growth with your remit including teams' members across the globe.

What skills do you need to succeed?

Relevant commercial experience in architecture strategies across IaaS and PaaS services (think Microsoft azure)
Demonstrable past of working across SaaS development and QA teams
Experience with contract management
Comfortable mentoring junior team members to success
Proven cost management and budgeting skills
Expertise in establishing IT policies to support executive management strategies
Basic working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL DB, PostgreSQL, Intune, Citrix/VMWare, MDM and other similar technologies

While not necessary, our client has made a note that knowledge of the following would be highly advantageous:ISO27001, SOC2 frameworks, Commercial contract management
