Description

Our partner is a Christian based federation of international organisations dedicated to stopping human slavery, trafficking and abuse and healing the survivors of this abuse.


They are looking to appoint a Treasurer to provide appropriate and effective financial controls that will ensure the charity's funds are used for the intended purpose, which is to stop slavery, trafficking and healing the survivors of this abuse.

The role will require the accurate tracking of income and expenditure and providing timely reporting to support the Executive Director and Board in decision making.


They are looking for someone with accounting experience to manage their financial accounts using Xero, or a similar accounting programme.

An understanding of financial governance for charities is essential and the individual will need to be a competent user of Excel.


The UK Board meets 6 times per year, either in person or online, and also jointly meets with the International Board 6 times per year.

The total estimated time commitment of the role is approximately 10-12 hours per month.


Please note that this is a volunteer role and there is therefore no remuneration.
