Fire Marshal - Canterbury

MUST HAVE FIRE MARSHAL CERTIFICATE

Shifts:
Either 7 hours or 9 hours Monday to Friday.

12 hours Saturday and Sunday
At TMS Protection, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our team based in Canterbury, Kent. We are looking for a committed Fire Marshal to join us.

Employed as a Fire Marshal you will be supported by our experienced and dedicated Operations Team.

After successfully completing probation as Fire Marshal, TMS offer employee benefits including Pension and Benenden Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Educating the public on fire safety
  • Enforcing the local fire codes and related regulations
  • Assisting management when required
  • Ensuring working environment is safe
  • Ensuring fire exists are known and accessible
  • Ensuring walkways are kept clear
  • No obstructions
  • Evacuation of the premises securely

Requirements:


  • Valid Fire Marshal Certificate is mandatory
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to make quick and rational decisions in highpressure situations
  • Strong observation skills with attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a similar role or relevant security background
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed
