The Business Support Executive Assistant who joins our team will be responsible for day-to-day business activity, working closely with the Head of Business Support and the Managing Director in order to facilitate the needs of the company and provide comprehensive assistance.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 1+ years' experience within a relevant administrative role
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Able to attend (accessible) office within Manchester City Centre
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience within a startup _(desirable but not required)_

Responsibilities

  • Executive Support _
  • Reporting to the Head of Business Support, assisting in the delivery of all daytoday Business Support functions.
  • Assisting in the creation, maintenance and monitoring of administrative systems to ensure that all tasks are monitored and that the Directors can fulfil all their responsibilities.
  • Supporting the Managing Director in an EA capacity including managing his diary, schedule, daily and weekly tasks, and ensuringthat competing priorities are managed and completed (including ensuring that breaks, travel time and preparation time is scheduled into the diary)
  • Assisting in the management of both internal and external meetings to ensure that they follow agenda, are on schedule, and that action points are recorded. This will include circulation of both premeeting preparatory items and minutes.
  • Assisting in nontechnical research, and ensuring that research methodology is clearly defined, findings are recorded and clearly communicated.
  • Attending adhoc events and networking on behalf of the company, as and when required.
  • Taking ownership of other office management duties as and when required.
  • Accessibility _
  • Identifying and removing any barriers to accessibility regarding all services, meetings, conference facilities and events, including the negotiation of reasonable adjustments and enforcement of rights.
  • Researching assistive technologies and funding channels to remove barriers to accessibility.
  • Booking, scheduling and briefing specialists who can assist in the above.
  • Communications_
  • Assisting in the configuration of a neurodiverse friendly CRM system (ClickUp), using features such as mind maps, pictures, prompts and interaction notes to assist the user to manage communication with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Advising on strategies and providing assistance in networking and professional relationship development (e.g. clients, prospective employees, and other stakeholders
  • Assisting in the writing of all copy, articles, reports, case studies, funding bids ensuring that they are fit for purpose. This will include structuring documents, drafting and proofreading complex documents.
  • Ensuring that all external documents and comms are proofread, appropriately edited, and formatted prior to sending
  • Acting as as social media assistant, ensuring that there is regular and accurate output using all appropriate channels.
  • Maintaining positive client relationships and representing the company effectively and appropriately.

Salary:
£25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
