The Purpose:


The Regulatory Services Administrator will support a team responsible for Environmental, Food, Fire and Health & Safety within the Club.

The role provides a first-class opportunity to work in a professional environment, with a department that is passionate about their work.


The Role:

You will be supporting a team of five, providing support such as, but not limited to:

  • Managing daily office activities including being the principal point of contact for all departmental 'first enquiries'.
  • Organising and planning rotas and diaries for the team, including external consultants.
  • Managing inventory of office supplies, including first aid equipment, stationery, and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Managing diaries and creating travel itineraries for team members.
  • Scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and arranging conferences and events.
  • Liaising with departmental stakeholders to answer queries and resolve issues.
  • Tracking and monitoring local operating budgets and producing monthly financial reports for the department.
  • Raising Purchase Orders and Goods Receiving
  • Organising and administering staff welfare programs including Occupational Health, DSE, Eye Tests, Maternity & Young Persons' etc.
  • Performing data entry tasks.
  • Support team members and managers in preparing presentations and reports.
  • Work closely with all team members, to ensure data and systems are always up to date.
  • Update all noticeboards and communal areas with relevant information.
  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Officer regarding accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Liaising with departmental team members regarding ISO Environmental) and ISO Health& Safety) documentation and templates to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Analysis and reporting of Health & Safety, Food Safety, Fire Safety and Environmental/Sustainable data.
  • Assisting with recordkeeping of any accidents/incidents and carrying out any followup actions.
  • Planning and organising facetoface training sessions.
  • Booking trainers and coordinating with them regarding any specific course requirements.
  • Setting up training rooms, checking IT systems, preparing course material in advance of courses and troubleshooting issues if they arise.
  • Monitor and replenish first aid kits located around the stadium on a monthly basis.
  • Contribute towards the delivery of excellent administrative support.
  • Provide support to the Food Safety and Health & Safety Officers with regulatory compliance.

The Person:


  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Presentation skills and customer service knowledge
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A background knowledge of health, safety and environmental matters, corporate compliance, and quality procedures
  • Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and other general financial procedures
  • Proven experience in a related role such as office administration, or other relevant position
  • Working knowledge of MS office products Word, Excel & PowerPoint and specialised office management tools.
  • Proficiency in record keeping, diary management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, with the exception of Match Day attendance (Match Day attendance for home games at Old Trafford is a standard 8 hour working day)
