Description
A large food manufacturer are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician, on a permanent basis.


Commutable from:
Evesham, Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Leamington Spa, Oxfordshire, Solihull, Tewkesbury


Salary:
£38,000 - £40,000 p.a. plus pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, potential 10% bonus and other company benefits

The Role
Deliver a successful engineering maintenance shift, with respect to OEE, via effective fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance
Comfortable working in a chilled manufacturing environment and 24/7 operation
Ability to diagnose faults in a safe, controlled and effective manner
Conduct breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner
Work closely with operations team to ensure equipment issues are resolved
Must be competent to conduct root cause analysis
Able to record findings and breakdowns
Identify areas of poor equipment performance, and working with the Lead Technician, implement improvements ina controlled and measured way
Competent to conduct preventative maintenance activities to a very high standard, and able to record and relay findings and identify methods of improvement
Able to electrically fault find to a safe, methodical and timely manner
Can conduct electrical machinery audits
Monitor and ensure that manufacturing equipment does not pose any risk to personal


The Person
Experience of machinery maintenance and fault diagnosis
Possess appropriate qualifications to your engineering discipline
Comfortable in chilled environment
Highly methodical and organised in approach to preventative maintenance
Can demonstrate an excellent approach to fault finding
Have a passion for getting into the detail of machinery function and operation
Experience in a food production environment (FMCG) would be beneficial
Comfortable working a night shift role
